Ariel Broggi

Creative Director

Ariel is the Creative Director. He has a hopeless crush on inspired ideas and tight execution. He is sponsored by Vans in his dreams. Sometimes by Camper as well. His career highlights include founding an independent record label, exhibiting silkscreened artwork in galleries across the country, appearing in several art and design publications and winning an armful of advertising awards. He hopes to someday have a basset hound, which he will name Bill Peters.

Boring Stuff:

Ariel graduated Georgetown University with a double degree in English Literature and Fine Arts. He spent his post graduate years as a malnourished artist before realizing he had a taste for marketing as well. Finding advertising to be a compelling marriage of art and commerce, he immersed himself in the cultivation of creative communications. Within a year he won several national and international advertising and design awards as an Art Director and Copywriter, including the prestigious Kelly Award for excellence in print advertising. His work has since been published by Communication Arts, Lürzer’s Archive, Print Magazine and US Ad Review.

Pulpy Stuff:

  • He owned a sweet-ass carpeted van until its engine exploded.
  • He appeared wearing a wig in the Sebadoh video "Ocean."
  • He was once asked by Bruce Springsteen if he liked math class.
